Welcome
Welcome to the official website for the Estancia at Wiregrass Community Development District (CDD). This site is funded on behalf of the Community Development District in an effort to help educate the general public about the services provided by the District and to highlight the other agencies involved in the day-to-day operations of the community.
Resident Notice
We are pleased to announce that the transfer of the community amenities from the HOA to the CDD has been successfully completed.
While there were a few minor bumps along the way, the transition was overall smooth, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as final details were addressed. These changes take time, and your cooperation made the process much easier for all involved.
For your convenience, the amenity contact list has been updated to reflect the new management structure and ensure you have the most accurate information moving forward.
Thank you again for your support as we complete this transition. We look forward to continued improvements and a positive experience for all residents.
Sortino Fountain Update
We are aware of the ongoing algae bloom and the associated unpleasant odor at the upper Sortino Fountain. Our aquatic vendor is currently treating and managing the bloom.
The fountain is presently turned off to allow the water level in the intake basin to lower so that necessary repairs can be performed on the fountain intakes. Due to the low water levels and accumulated nutrients in this shallow pool, a filamentous algae bloom has occurred. While filamentous algae is a natural part of Florida ecosystems and is not hazardous, please be advised that no one should enter the water, play in the fountain, or allow pets to drink from it at any time.
The current odor is a result of warm water temperatures combined with decaying treated algae. Once the algae has turned brown, we will assess and possibly remove some of the decaying algae.
We expect the water level to be low enough to begin intake repairs next week. We anticipate restoring the water level and reactivating the fountain within the next few weeks.
Thank you for your patience during this process.

Estancia CDD Community Poll
The Estancia Community Development District (CDD) Board of Supervisors is considering the installation of traffic calming devices (e.g., speed tables) along Lagona Lane and Tramanto Lane. To gather community feedback on this proposal, a survey has been posted on Town Square. We encourage all residents to participate and share their input.
